Job Description:
The Leasing Service Coordinator is responsible for managing the maintenance of all lease, rental and contract maintenance vehicles within the PTL fleet. Communicate with customers to schedule service and repair visits. Assist Leasing Director in record keeping of PM maintenance and repair records.
Your Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all PM maintenance and repairs from first customer contact through completion.
- Coordinate with the dealership service teams to schedule and manage preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Provide customers with estimates for physical damage/driver damage repairs and receive preapproval for repairs.
- Use automated service tracking software to plan, schedule and complete required preventive maintenance programs and DOT inspections. Keep all maintenance up to date and documented.
- Coordinate after hours break down and emergency service coverage with Service Department or outside repair facilities.
- Review and approve all service invoices before submitting to Leasing Director for payment.
- Work with Leasing Director to place new vehicles into service, to remove off-lease vehicles from service, and plan retirement of rental vehicles.
- Work with dealership Service Director to standardize preventive maintenance procedures.
- Foster a safety-first environment for our clients by encouraging preventive maintenance and by helping to educate client drivers on proper vehicle operating procedures.
- Encourage collaboration with our clients to clearly differentiate our services from our competitors.
- Other reporting and communication as requested by the Director, including meetings, reports, and client communications.
- Working with the Leasing Director, assist handling all customer service complaints.
Qualifications needed:
- 5-10 years commercial diesel truck maintenance experience. Maintenance management experience preferred but not required. Lease and rental experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service background and customer relations skills. Ability to communicate with clients through written, oral or electronic communication methods is critical.
- Valid Class A or B CDL Drivers License preferred, or ability to procure with no known disqualifications.
- Strong detail management skills and organization skills. Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
